"warm [ ] traveled 12 1/4 [ ] pased during the day the Peak caled Chimney Rock on the south side of the river [ ] Bro Pratt calculated the height to be 55 feet"

----------
So how tall is Chimney Rock? Was Orson Pratt a little off in his calculations?

The following about Chimney Rock height is from Heber C Kimball's journal. It gives Orson Pratt's calculations different that Charles did so who knows what happened there. Maybe in Charles' journal the number was hard to read or something when it was typed up originally.

"Wednesday 26 The morning very fine and pleasant. At 8 o clock we again continued our journey [ ] Br Orson Pratt taking observations to tell the distance Chimney Rock lay from our road........ after traveling 4⅝ miles we passed the meridian of Chimney Rock, having traveled since we first saw it 41½ miles........... Br Pratt found that Chimney Rock is 250 feet high from its base to its summit and the distance from our road at the nearest point is 3 miles"
